T-rescue

Paddle sports can be very dangerous. There are accidents and even fatalities in Sea Kayaking every year around the world. However, most of these accidents happen to people paddling without professional guides, with inadequate training compared to the conditions they end up paddling in. There are naturally also some cases, where even very skilled paddlers have misjudged the risk.

In our operation, we strive to the highest safety level for our clients. This involves:

- BCU recommended minimum 1 to 8 instructor to client ratio

- Location of the class/outing is chosen to match the skill level of the group

- Clients are pre-screened for physical problems that might get aggravated by kayaking

- We use top quality Sea Kayaking gear with our clients.

- Instructors are certified and trained regularly to handle different rescue situations and First Aid.

- Instructors carry relevant communications equipment for the location, cellphone and or marine VHF.
