Sea Kayaking Finland
SKUK Kayaks
We
represent Sea Kayaking UK's products in Finland. These are
the kayaks originally developed by Nigel Dennis and nowadays
manufactured under the name of SKUK. Most well known kayaks are
the ROMANY and the EXPLORER.
These are the best kayaks we know of for the following purposes:
- Paddling in serious sea conditions (wind and waves)
- Instructing Sea Kayaking
- Learning paddling skills
However, the beauty of these kayaks is, that due to their relatively high secondary stability (relative to their narrow beam), they work OK for instruction from beginner level all the way to expert paddlers. We know of no other kayaks that would work like this, equally well.

Our
main order for SKUK kayaks to Finland is SKUK's so-called pre-season
order. This is the opportunity for us to order boats during the
slow season of SKUK manufacturing period, and we can get the kayaks
with custom colors and other customizations at no extra cost. The
pre-season order typically closes at the end of October each year.
Kayaks are delivered before the ice melts in Finland (March-April).
